Hello, there isn't a specific trading time. Sometimes there are 1 or 2 trades a day, sometimes 1 or 2 trades a week or also nothing. It depends on the market condition, I do not like to

Thanks, but at the moment I prefer not to have a partner.

Сейчас уперлись в сильное месячное сопротивление, очень большая вероятность хорошо отскочить. Плюс дивергенция на днях, все ждут разворота. Продолжаем верить!!!!

Hello!

Can you say a few words about your strategy on this PAMM account? Is it a kind of scalping? Or long term? Do you have a backtests?

Is your strategy fully automated (EA is trading) or manual orders are possible?

As I noted from your myfxbook monitoring, you do not use Stop Losses on your orders (you do use but their size is as big as 1199 pips).

Hello,

my system use "Wallstreet Recovery PRO Evolution" expert advisor.

The trading strategy is:

 - it does not close in loss
- high stop loss level
- uses additional trade/s for restoring profits

The principle of operation is the following - if the initial trade is not closed from the EAs trading logic and the price moves away with X pips loss, then the robot opens one additional trade with a larger lot size (between 3x and 7x). This way, the robot manages to compensate the loss from the initial trade and all trades are closed on overall profit.

In six months trading the Recovery trade happen only once, normally there is only one trade open at a time.

I think that the EA works right in about 90% of the case, so you must be prepare to trigger some other Recovery trade in the future.

I attach a zip file containing the backtest for Pairs currently running in my account.

Regards...

What happened?

We were not be able to close the initial trade in profit, it was achieved (and exceeded) the threshold of the 140 pip loss and now the EA is waiting for an opportunity to open the recovery trade.

The trade will be opened with a lot 3x compared to the initial trade, and when EURGBP will resume in the right direction the two trades will be closed in overall profit.

Hello,

I use a commercial software on my account.

You can find his name and all settings parameters in my last backtest that you can find here:

EURUSD – https://www.myfxbook.com/strategies/turtle-eur-eurusd/137334

GBPUSD – https://www.myfxbook.com/strategies/turtle-eur-gbpusd/137335

The results are almost identical to the forward test Turtle EUR

Hello,

there isn't a specific trading time.

Sometimes there are 1 or 2 trades a day, sometimes 1 or 2 trades a week or also nothing.

It depends on the market condition, I do not like to trade so often.

Less but safer.

Dear manager,

You say that ' I think that the EA works right in about 90% of the case '

I see more negative trades than 10%. Why is that?

Thanks.

Also:

How long does a recovery phase usually take after a 'small collapse' (like 13 Friday - 16 Monday, July, 2018).

Hello,

I do not start counting the operations one by one, but if you look at the Turtle EUR statistics on myfxbook you will see a result like this:

Hello,

a recovery trade can expected at 150 pips loss for GBPUSD currency pair, but this is not an exact value.

The strategy waits for the right moment to open the recovery and generally, the recovery remain open for a few hours.

Hello,

do you know if there is a way to recover the history or do you have to start from the beginning?
However, within the next month I will open a new account in Dollars (Turtle USD).

Dear Manager,

What is the difference between this account and your new one?

Turtle EUR - SL

Thanks.

Hello,

"Turtle EUR - SL" is a normal trading strategy with stoploss settings.

"Turtle EUR" instead is a modified version. The strategy trades the same way as the StopLoss version does. The difference is in the way the opened trades are being managed. There are also few differences in the settings.
The principle of operation is the following - if the initial trade is not closed from the strategy’s trading logic and the price moves away with X pips loss, then the strategy opens one (and only one) additional trade with a larger lot size. This way, the strategy manages to compensate the loss from the initial trade and all trades are closed on overall profit.

Dear Andrea,

I like the small, turtle steps in your trading but I constantly see other accounts going to zero due to lack of "brakes" (stop-loss). If there is no stop-loss on this Turtle-EUR account, what can prevent a huge drawdown / liquidation?

Thank you.

Hello,

I rely on statistics, in 10 years of backtest the drawdown has never exceeded 30%.

My signal has been running well for over 2 years now and I think that if, at worst, this drawdown should be achieved, then I would manually close open trades with a total loss of around 30% of the entire capital.
